Jeanne Kuo Riggins
Vice President:
Jeanne is a mom of two boys who grew up in a Mandarin
immersion preschool setting. She is dedicated to Mandarin
immersion learning and loves how One Plus expanded from a little
preschool learning center to a kinder prep and an after-school
program. Before One Plus, Jeanne was a partner at a law firm
where she practiced for over 15 years. Now, Jeanne is
actively involved in the day-to-day operations of One Plus and her
children’s school.
During her spare time, you can find Jeanne taking her children to
their sports games and practices, working out, or watching her
favorite tv shows.
Ms. Vivian is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in this field from Southwest Minzu University, China, and a Master’s degree in Science of Gerontology from USC.

Ms. Vivian is certified with an Intern California Teaching Credential and a China Teaching Certification. She has successfully taught Mandarin immersion classes and designed engaging, project-based curricula for students of various ages. Her extensive experience includes preparing young learners for academic success and guiding older students through advanced language studies, including HSK exams.
Fluent in both Chinese and English, Ms. Vivian is known for her innovative teaching methods and ability to create a positive, enriching learning environment for Pre-K and school-age children.
Yujing Li
Assistant Director
Yujing Li holds a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
With years of experience in education and program coordination, Yujing combines her expertise in early childhood development and bilingual education to support both teachers and students in achieving their full potential. She has also counseled college students for two years, further strengthening her leadership and communication skills.
Yujing’s research focuses on the challenges and opportunities of bilingual learning materials in Dual Language Immersion (DLI) programs. As an Assistant Director, she is passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment, supporting teachers through professional development, and ensuring that every child experiences holistic growth—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Yogi Kang
Center Director of One Plus Chinese
Ms. Yogi is the CEO and founder of One Plus Chinese and 1 World
Education. She has a master's degree in Early Childhood Education
from Missouri State University. Yogi is known as a passionate and
experienced Chinese lecturer who loves to work with learners of
all ages and skill levels. She specializes in creating fun and
innovative ways to teach and engage students. Her experience
includes organizing Learning Chinese the Fun Way Meet-Up in
Santa Monica and teaching at First To Learn Learning Center,
Broadway Elementary School, Milken Community High School,
Westside Chinese School, and Carlthorp Elementary School.
Tianqi Fang
Preschool Lead Teacher
Tianqi Fang is a Chinese language teacher at One Plus Chinese. She achieved her Master's degree in Second Language Instruction at Troy University and is learning Early Childhood Education now. She had ever worked as a lead teacher teaching Mandarin to kindergarten kids for one year in a Chinese Immersion School. She is full of energy and patience. She enjoys working with kids and watching them grow. Outside of school, she likes to read, do puzzles, and play Rubik's cube.
Phoebe Qiu
Teaching Assistant
Ms. Phoebe graduated with a master’s degree in TESOL and brings a vibrant, engaging energy to every class she teaches. She is deeply passionate about Chinese culture, music, dance, and creative teaching methods. In her lessons, she loves to incorporate elements of traditional Chinese culture—such as kung fu exercises and classical arts—to create a fun, immersive, and culturally rich language learning experience. With experience in one-on-one Chinese tutoring in after-school programs, Ms. Phoebe specializes in tailoring lessons to meet each student’s individual needs and learning styles.
